Temporary Front Office Support Staff

Medical professional needed in fast paced office to provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources. This position is a three month, temporary position with possibility of permanent position.

This position will float between multiple departments and include some of the following duties:

  • Greet patient and other customers over the phone and in person
  • Answer a multi-line phone system
  • Schedule appointments
  • Fax and scan medical information
  • Verify and obtain authorization
  • Data entry
  • Effectively communicate information to patient, clinician, referring physicians, and insurance companies
  • Demonstrate empathy, concern, good listening skills, and compassion for all patients 

Must meet the following qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a receptionist or front office staff member to include scheduling, data entry, and customer service
  • Ability to speak clearly and understandably
  • Excellent work ethic and phone etiquette
  • Customer service and issue resolution
  • Computer experience in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and concerns easily
