Melissa Kounine, DO

Board Certified Orthopedist

Dr. Kounine is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. She has extensive experience in joint replacements of the hip and knee. She is also fellowship trained in Orthopedic Oncology, the treatment of extremity tumors.

After completing her orthopedic residency and fellowship training, she took a position at the University of Toledo Medical center, in Toledo, Ohio. There she was an Assistant Professor, the Chief of Orthopedic Oncology, and Associate Director of the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program.

After moving to the Pacific Northwest, she worked with Kaiser Permanente in the Portland area, and then joined a private orthopedic practice In Hillsboro, Oregon.
