The Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

“These are great words to live by. As human beings these words are sometimes easier said than done. As a clinician I try to remember these words and put them into action with each patient I see. Listening is an important part of my job. My goal is to do my best to not only diagnose and treat patients accurately but to make them feel cared for.”

Josh is a native to the Pacific Northwest, growing up in La Grande, Oregon. Josh graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove with a degree in Exercise Science. He was also a collegiate wrestler, which helped solidify his work ethic & perseverance.

He served as an EMT & Field Training Officer in Clackamas, Oregon prior to going back to school to become a Physician Assistant. He also worked for several years as an EMT/wildland firefighter on a hotshot crew in eastern Oregon.

After graduating with honors in 2004 with a Master’s Degree from Physician Assistant school he accepted a job in Washington state and has loved being here ever since. He joined Washington Orthopaedic Center with over 14 years of high-volume orthopedic experience.

Josh and his wife have made Olympia home with their two daughters. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing, hiking, camping and pretty much anything in life that provides some adventure!
