Bone Fracture Treatment at Washington Orthopaedic Center
When many people think of orthopedic care, they think of “fracture care.”
When in reality, fracture care is just one of the many different orthopedic and sports injury services we offer at Washington Orthopaedic Center. A bone fracture is defined as a medical condition which there is a partial or complete break in a bone. In some of the more extreme cases, the bone may be broken in multiple locations.
Our surgeons treat a large number of fracture patients each year at our Centralia and Olympia clinics. Many of our patients with serious fractures are referred to us from the Emergency Room or occasionally from an urgent care center.
In some cases, they may come to us directly. We work in cooperation with the hospital to provide surgical care for fractures of the hip, femur, tibia, wrist, and forearm (as well as many others).
We treat these seven different types of bone fractures:
- Stable Fracture
- Transverse Fracture
- Comminuted Fracture
- Oblique Fracture
- Compound Fracture
- Hairline Fracture
- Avulsion Fracture
- Greenstick Fracture
We are also available to the Emergency Room on a consultation basis when fractures or dislocations require manipulation and/or casting. If you would like to learn more about our bone fracture treatment services, contact us today at (833) 736-2889
